For the people who run toward the call. One month free as a thank-you.

If you are a sworn police officer, firefighter, EMT, paramedic, 911 dispatcher, search-and-rescue volunteer, or wildland firefighter, whether currently active or retired, your second month with me is free. The first month at the standard $175 kicks off the build; the second month is on the house. Thank you for what you do.

The discount, in plain numbers

  • Month one: $175, the standard rate. The first payment is what kicks off the build, same as for every client.
  • Month two: $0, on the house. The discount lands as a one-month free credit applied to your second invoice automatically. You see "First responders credit applied" on the invoice line and a $0 total.
  • Month three onward: back to the standard $175. Same plan, same scope, same direct support.
  • Total savings: $175. One month free, no recurring rate change, no expiration logic to track.
  • Free 5-point audit either way. If you are not yet ready to build, the free audit is also free, and I will flag you for the credit the day you do hire me.

Why "month two free" instead of an ongoing percentage off? Two reasons. (1) It is simpler to track on both ends — one credit, one invoice, done. (2) The thank-you is concentrated rather than diluted. A one-month credit feels like an actual gift; a few dollars off every invoice tends to disappear into the noise of monthly billing.

Who qualifies

Anyone with verifiable service in any of the following roles, current or retired, plus their immediate family:

  • Sworn law enforcement. Municipal, county, state, federal. Includes corrections officers, parole officers, and sheriff's deputies.
  • Firefighters. Career, volunteer, wildland, and structural. Includes federal/state agency wildland crews and rural fire-protection-district volunteers.
  • EMS. EMTs, paramedics, advanced practice paramedics, flight paramedics, ambulance crew.
  • 911 telecommunicators. Public-safety answering point dispatchers and call-takers.
  • Search and rescue. Sworn or volunteer SAR personnel attached to a recognized organization.
  • Federal / Canadian equivalents. RCMP, provincial / territorial police, OPP, Sûreté du Québec, Canadian fire services, Canadian EMS.
  • Spouses, children, parents, and siblings of any qualifying responder, same credit, same verification (one shared photo of the responder's documentation, plus a one-line note identifying the relationship).

How verification works: One photo or scan of your department / agency ID, badge with department name, or a recent paystub from a qualifying agency (with dollar amounts redacted is fine). For volunteer roles, a letter from your chief / commander on department letterhead works. Email it once when we start; I delete the file the moment I confirm. I do not retain copies.

How to claim it

  1. Book a 20-minute discovery call. Standard contact form. In the message, mention you are claiming the first responders credit.
  2. On the call, we figure out the build. Same conversation I have with anyone, what your business needs, what kind of site fits, which plan makes sense.
  3. Send proof of service. One photo of your department ID or a single paystub, by email. Takes 30 seconds.
  4. I tag your account for the credit. Your first invoice is the standard $175. Your second invoice has the credit applied automatically and totals $0. From month three onward, billing is the standard rate.

Why I do this

A meaningful number of first responders run a side or post-retirement service business of one kind or another, whether that is off-duty contracting, security consulting, training services, fire-watch, building inspections, or an EMS-adjacent business. The schedule is unforgiving, and the work is harder than the public tends to realize. A free month is the difference, for some owners, between testing the engagement risk-free and not testing it at all.

First responders credit FAQ.

Generally no, one credit at a time. The exception is the partner-referral program: if a partner refers you AND you qualify as a first responder, the partner still earns their referral credit on their ledger and you still receive the first responders free month. Both apply, just to different parties.
Yes. Volunteer fire and volunteer SAR personnel attached to a recognized department or organization qualify. A letter from your chief / commander on letterhead is sufficient verification.
Yes. A retiree ID card or a copy of your retirement paperwork from the qualifying agency is fine.
Yes. Spouses, children, parents, and siblings of any qualifying responder receive the same one-month free credit. Verification is the responder's documentation plus a one-line note identifying the relationship. Surviving spouses of line-of-duty deaths absolutely included.
No. One photo of one document, by email. I confirm and delete. That is the entire verification process.

Twenty minutes to figure out what to build.

Book a discovery call, mention the first responders credit in the message, and send proof of service when we get started. Your second month is free as a thank-you.
