Call (928) 315-9094 Overview Services Service Area About Pricing Resources Request estimate

Terms of Use

Last updated April 2026. The site is informational. The proposal we send you after the load-calc visit is the binding offer; the engagement contract you sign is the binding agreement.

01 / Acceptance

By visiting, you agree.

By using summithvac.example you agree to these terms. We may update them; the date at the top reflects the latest revision.

02 / Pricing on the site

Ranges, after rebates and tax credits.

Pricing tables on /pricing/ are typical residential ranges drawn from completed installs. They reflect post-rebate, post-IRA-25C pricing for qualifying customers and qualifying equipment. Your actual price depends on the load calc, your specific equipment selection, your home's existing infrastructure, and your eligibility for rebates/credits, which we determine during the estimate.

The proposal we send is binding for 60 days. The site is not.

03 / Manual J load calculations

What the load calc tells us, and doesn't.

A Manual J load calculation per ACCA standards predicts the heat-loss and heat-gain of your home under design conditions. It is the industry standard for properly sizing HVAC equipment. It is not:

  • A guarantee of energy bill savings (utility rates, occupant behavior, weather variability all matter).
  • An audit of envelope performance independent of HVAC sizing (we'd recommend a separate energy audit for that).
  • A substitute for a Manual D / S design for new construction (which we also offer separately).
04 / Equipment performance

SEER2 and HSPF ratings.

SEER2 and HSPF2 ratings are tested under standardized lab conditions. Real-world performance varies based on installation quality, duct sealing, refrigerant charge, climate, occupant behavior, and equipment cycling patterns. We commission every install to meet manufacturer-specified performance targets at the time of install, but we cannot warrant performance over the life of the equipment.

05 / Warranty

Two parts: workmanship + manufacturer.

Workmanship warranty. Our installation labor is warranted for 2 years from commissioning. Defects caused by our installation (leaks at our joints, miswired controls, sizing errors) are repaired at no charge during this window.

Manufacturer warranty. Equipment is covered by the manufacturer for 5–10 years on parts (varies by model + registration). Compressors and heat exchangers typically carry longer warranties (10 years or lifetime). We register every install on your behalf to activate these warranties.

06 / Limitation of liability

Capped at install price.

To the extent permitted by Colorado law, our liability for any claim related to a project is capped at the contract price for that project. Summit carries $2M general liability and $2M workers' comp.

07 / Governing law

Colorado.

These terms are governed by Colorado law.
