Cold winters, hot afternoons, dry every season.
The Denver metro is climate zone 5B. Mild compared to the upper Midwest, brutal compared to the West Coast. The right system here is sized for ~6,000 heating-degree-days and ~700 cooling-degree-days, very different from coastal markets.
Heat pumps work here
Cold-climate inverter heat pumps (Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat, Daikin Aurora) maintain capacity to ~5°F. We install them with a backup strip-heat coil for the rare deep-cold snap. Xcel rebates apply.
Dry air = humidification
Indoor humidity hits 10–20% in winter without a humidifier. Whole-house steam humidifiers (Aprilaire 800) are a routine add-on we recommend on any new installation.
Wildfire-grade filtration
Front Range smoke season runs August through October most years. MERV 13 minimum on every install; MERV 16 or HEPA on request for asthma and allergy clients.
Same-day service across the metro.
Routine maintenance? Book online. Heat out? Call. Either way, we run trucks across the metro every day.
