Capabilities.

Four things we do often, done properly. We don't chase work outside these. If you need something we don't do, we'll tell you, and we know three shops we'd recommend.

01

Panel upgrades & service heavy-up

Replacing an aging 100A or 150A service with a modern 200A main panel. We also re-bus old Federal Pacific, Zinsco, and Pushmatic panels that insurance companies won't write new policies on. Every upgrade includes permit, utility coordination, whole-house surge protection, and inspection sign-off.

Cost: $2,800–$4,400 depending on service entrance length, grounding upgrades needed, and whether the meter socket is being replaced.

1 day on-site
02

EV charger installs

Level 2 chargers on dedicated 40A or 50A circuits. We carry Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint Home Flex, Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Grizzl-E, Enphase IQ EV. Hardwired or NEMA 14-50 outlet depending on charger spec.

Before we quote, we do a load calc on your panel. Half the quick-install contractors in town skip that step and end up with homes tripping main breakers on hot July days with two EVs on the chargers. That's not the service we provide.

Cost: $1,100–$2,400 for most residential installs. Second-charger add during the same visit: additional $450.

03

Whole-home rewires

For homes built before 1960 (knob & tube, aluminum branch wiring, ungrounded 2-wire circuits). We take the job seriously. You keep your plaster walls, we fish through attic and basement, keeping drywall disturbance to a minimum and coordinating a plasterer or drywaller when it's unavoidable.

Insurance companies are increasingly refusing to renew policies on homes with knob & tube. A rewire is one of the few home improvements that pays back in premium reductions alone.

Cost: Scoped per home. Typical 1,600 sq ft bungalow runs $14,000–$28,000 depending on access and finish restoration.

2–3 weeks on-site
04

Light commercial

Up to 600-amp 3-phase service. Tenant fit-outs, office retrofits, restaurant kitchens, small industrial. Our foreman Ray has 18 years of commercial experience and holds a Master's license; if we say we'll pass inspection on the first try, we mean it.

Scope: Every commercial project is bid fixed-price after a site walk. We don't play the T&M game. If the drawings are incomplete, we say so before we bid.

Fixed-price
