Last updated April 2026. Three of us run this shop, your data sits in our shop. We don't share it, sell it, or run trackers on the site.
What we collect.
When you book a job, we collect your name, phone, email, address, and what you've described about the work. On-site we add panel photos and load-calc data. For the EV-charger jobs, we add vehicle make/model and the charger spec.
The site has no behavioral analytics, no fingerprinting scripts, no third-party cookies, no remarketing pixels. Page views are counted via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't set cookies and can't identify individuals.
How we use it.
- To quote, schedule, and dispatch.
- To pull permits with the city of Fort Collins.
- To file utility coordination paperwork (Xcel, Poudre Valley REA).
- To stay in touch about warranty work for the year after install.
What we never do.
- Sell your data.
- Add you to a marketing list without explicit opt-in.
- Share your panel photos with anyone except city inspectors and your utility (when required for the permit).
- Run retargeting ads.
Retention.
Permit-related job records are kept 10 years per Colorado state electrical code. EV-charger install records are kept 5 years. Service-call notes are kept 3 years. Site analytics are aggregated after 30 days.
Your rights.
You can ask for a copy of any data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to the records-retention windows above). Email shop@lumenelectric.example with subject "Privacy" and Ray will respond inside 10 business days.
