Privacy Policy.
Last updated April 2026. Three generations of the Kovac family handle your data the way we'd want ours handled. We collect what we need to do the work, we don't sell it, and we never sign you up for marketing without asking.
What we collect.
When you call or book online, Tess records: your name, phone, email, service address, and what's wrong. During the service call our plumber adds: photos of the issue, equipment make and model, parts used, and what was done. For repipes and remodels, we add scope drawings, permit records, and inspector sign-off documents.
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-respecting page-view counting. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers.
What we use it for.
- To dispatch the right plumber.
- To send you the estimate and invoice.
- To pull permits when the job requires one.
- To honor the one-year warranty on every install.
- To remind you about maintenance plan visits (if you're on the plan).
- To send a single review-request email after the job is closed.
What we don't do.
- Sell your information.
- Add you to a marketing list without your explicit opt-in.
- Share your address with manufacturers, parts suppliers, or third parties beyond what's required for warranty registration.
- Run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioral analytics.
How long we keep it.
Job records are retained for 7 years per Utah state plumbing license requirements. Service-call notes are kept 5 years. Maintenance-plan customer records are kept while the plan is active and for 3 years after cancellation. Site analytics are aggregated after 30 days.
Your rights.
You can ask for a copy of any data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask for deletion (subject to the retention windows above). Email hello@clearwaterslc.example with subject "Privacy" and Tess will respond within 10 business days.
