The fine print, in plain English

Terms of Use.

Last updated April 2026. The site shows our work and our pricing ranges. Every actual project is governed by the design agreement we sign together, that's the binding document, not the website.

01 · Use of this site

Acceptance.

By visiting meadowstone.example you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't continue. We may revise these terms over time; the date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision.

02 · Pricing on the site

Ranges, not quotes.

The numbers shown on /investment/ and elsewhere are typical ranges drawn from the last three years of completed work. Each real project is bid fixed-price after a 90-minute on-site consultation and a signed design agreement. Site pricing is informational and not an offer.

03 · Photography & portfolio rights

Your garden, our portfolio (with permission).

We photograph completed gardens periodically over the first three years to document settling. With your written permission, those photographs may appear in our portfolio (this site, social, magazine submissions). Without your written permission, they don't. You may revoke that permission at any time and we will remove the photographs from our portfolio within 30 days.

We never post photographs that include identifying information (a recognizable face at a window, a house number, a street sign) without explicit consent for that frame.

04 · Plants are living things

Establishment is gradual; outcomes vary.

Plants are biological. We choose species suited to the site, install them well, and provide a two-year care plan, but we cannot guarantee that every plant survives. Establishment loss in the first season typically runs 5–15% across our projects; we replace dead plant material at our cost in the first 12 months as part of our standard practice.

05 · Drystone walls

Engineering scope.

Drystone walls under 4 feet are designed by us without a separate engineer. Walls 4 feet and taller, walls retaining substantial grade, or walls in seismic conditions are designed in coordination with a licensed structural engineer; that engineering fee is added to the project budget. We don't guarantee performance of walls built outside our engineered scope.

06 · Limitation of liability

Bound by the design agreement.

Our professional and financial liability for any claim related to a project is governed by the design agreement signed before work begins. Generally, liability is capped at the design fee paid for the project. We carry $2M general liability insurance and require the same of our drystone mason and any subcontractors.

07 · Governing law

Colorado.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
